Great for Rush. I'm just amazed that they would rather put in a RAP group like public enemy than say Stevie Ray Vaughan, IMO a far more deserving candidate.

P.E. brought a lot to the table musically, just as SRV. I've been finding the best way to address the qualities of music is to put my hard drive on shuffle and let everything from country to opera run as it comes. You'll be amazed at what works with each other... Tracks from It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back dovetails into Appitite For Destruction surprisingly well....

I was happy to see G 'n' R make the RRHOF last year. Appetite for Destruction is one of my favorite albums. It brings back some of the (few) fond memories I have of high school...

a little off-topic but what will happen as cd's are no more and our source
for music is 100% digital?
take note of yesterday's bands who have recently produced digital format
movies that are for sale and also play on cable channels such as
Palladio and AXSlive.
IMO they are looking forward to the collapse of CD sales.
Look at the DVD concert isle @ Best Buy, it's huge, and the music CD isles
are shrinking.

i know vinyl is making a small comeback, but don't think the masses will
again be turntable owners (still have my DUAL though)

I really think CD sales will drop like crazy over the next year or so. I still buy them but my kids NEVER do. I rarely re-play them after I load them on my computer and then from there to my phone.
