Roy & Allen Walking?

Does anyone know why Roy & Allen Johnson, along with family and crew members were walking along side Route 20 after the race at Norwalk? Seemed very unusual. Did their transporter break down?

We stayed for a while after the Summit Nationals and watched some bracket cars. When we finally left is when we saw it. Would still like to know what happened. I yelled through the window of our car "Hey Allen" and he waved to us. That was pretty cool. It was past the track where the airport is.

We were not allowed to go into the airport in our car by the state troppers where our plane was parked because of traffic coming out of the race track using the runway. We also had to wait an hour before taking off because of the traffic. Guess next year we will land at another airport. Was good exercise!! LOL
