pro mods ran great earlier ....... larry hodges super stock cobalt tagged wall past finish line and went on roof. said he is ok.

josh hart is finding his way with his FSS challenger. wouldn't that be cool, to double up in FSS and TF.

yes, they sure got better in Q3. would be interesting to know what differences the teams see with their 'grip' devices
over the course of an event such as this, and if any track prep formulas changed from yesterday to today.

There he stood at the end of the track talking to Amanda - a racer who's won just about everything there is to win in motorsports - almost to the point of being overcome with emotion with his double-up win. 3 really good, close finals, beautiful weather, great show for the fans and a bunch of deserving winners.

was just watching race recorded. pretty sure i woke up my wife when tony stewart won.
earlier in broadcast; interview with tony, he eluded to difficult conversations among his team regarding their performance.
that's gotta' be really tough on everyone. great to see them finding success. i think of many other teams the same way,
hoping they can improve with consistency.

- pretty sure PM got more coverage than PSB did on the FS1 broadcast.
- very few starting line winning crew chief interviews on sunday
- still wondering about track conditions on friday. guess we'll never know. was it just dust and temperature???
- what is going on with cruz pedregon? he just can't find his way. saw the fly fisherman is still helping him.
- caught larry hodge's accident on youtube. holy cow that car took a hard left just past finish line. not good at all.
- great E1 pass by kyle wurtzel in losing effort. he was right there. one of these few races he attends, that win light will come on again for him.

It was really tough conditions on Friday with the heat, wind, dust and thin rubber on the track.

Obviously, things got better on Saturday & Sunday with the cooler conditions and repeated runs down the track.

If you moved Pomona to May and raced there once a year, I think you'd see a lot of the same problems.

Worst TV show of the year so far. 2 straight hours of TF and FC fluff, old tired replays and talk to start it off then with PSM being the only other pro class they still managed to fly thru it with minimal highlights and no TV time for anybody but Matt and the Vance & Hines bikes. I managed to buzz thru the whole show is about an hour with my FFW button. All we were missing was Matt and Bruno holding hands at a go cart track this time.

....... I managed to buzz thru the whole show is about an hour with my FFW button ......

have to agree. caught E1 results on DRC earlier in day. turned on recorded race last night around 11pm and
was through entire 3 hr. show in less than an hour. even watched some of E1 when i already knew result.
so my deal is recorded thru hulu live. my recorded show shut off almost literally as TF final crossed finish line. no top end interviews or post race anything.
this happen to anyone else?

We were on the struggle bus for qualifying but seemed to get some of it sorted out for E1.

forgot to mention. sunday was driving, and honestly was looking to see if there was an indy car channel on sirius; wanted to hear updates
on qualifying for the 500. found the group of sports stations, and saw a channel labeled NHRA. it was the chicago race, but delayed.
the actual sirius channel was FOX SPORTS; they were broadcasting the FS1 feed with brian and tony, and while it was on, the channel was labeled NHRA.
this is a pretty cool deal if this will happen with any regularity. wonder if this came about via ant's relationship with sirius?

Sounds pretty cool, if it's a regular deal NHRA should promote it, unless they have and I've missed it.
