Nah. More like disturbing a little ant mound. Dustups are inevitable when a group is discussing anything, whether it's Team Force, politics, religion, the weather or sex. We're all good.Looks like I poked a stick in hornets nest!

Hi John, I see your fairly new here. I've only been here for 5 years and haven't started many threads. I have a email subscription to Auto Week and get daily posts. Usually their pretty good and the link I posted was supposed to be the newest info. I agree it's a waste of time probably should have read it more closely. But it stirred the "Maters" up a bit which has been pretty entertaining! This article is a waste of time and doesn’t tell us anything . It has no more info than a forum post or me texting friends. Not blaming the poster though. I saw that comment too on it, which is now deleted. Ridiculous.
I many times haven't understood why people keep such secrecy about health problems. Myself I've been open
about my problems. I guess it's a to each his own thing.
I have begun to hate birthdays, all they do is remind me of less sand left in my hourglass of life. LOL
Looks like a pair of great ladies, so sorry for your lossWhen my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2015, she decided that our journey was going to be known and openly discussed. It wasn't for sympathy, it was for transparency, in hopes that it would help others walking the same path. And what happened? We found many of those around us, who we had no idea, were in the midst of the same or similar battles. They reached out which helped us cope as well. Ideas were shared, we had a place to vent where our venting was fully understood, and prayer was paramount. We didn't have to do this "journey" alone.
It's been six years since she passed (as did others we knew), but even today I still get calls or text messages from some who I now call friends who went along side us in our "journey".
My wife is on the right. Both were fighters. Now they are pals in eternity.
I looked and am still seeing the comment. I didn't see an email address for Autoweek or I'd have emailed and asked them to remove it.I saw that comment too on it, which is now deleted. Ridiculous.

Ahh gotcha. ThxProbably the one about cheating on his wife, way back when.
I to have always been open about medical stuff but I've never had a substance abuse problem. I'M NOT FOR A MINUTE SUGGESTING ROBERT DOES. But that would explain the secrecy.I many times haven't understood why people keep such secrecy about health problems. Myself I've been open

And I didn't imply anything either and I respect his privacy. Sports entertainment figure or not it's his life not ours as fans. How about leaving the guessing behind, and instead hope Hight gets better, and leave it at that?
The fact Hight has not spoken out is up to him and nobody else.
His silence doesn’t imply anything.
Sorry - but after seeing literally hundreds of scoldings over speculation about injured racers or racers with health issues, I think we get the message. Enough already. How about leaving the guessing behind, and instead hope Hight gets better, and leave it at that?

And yet, here we are. Once again.Sorry - but after seeing literally hundreds of scoldings over speculation about injured racers or racers with health issues, I think we get the message. Enough already.
