A couple of days ago I was checking back through the list looking to see where your Dad was and I was starting to get annoyed that they hadn't listed him..... until I realized that they hadn't announced number 1 yet, then I calmed down.

I was there that weekend, my first big time drag race. Wish I still had that T-shirt. I remember Jeb Allen in the English Leather top fuel, Raymond Beetle, Billy Mayer in the Tropic Funny car. Ricky was in the Oakridge Boys Mustang II.
Man... only to have those days again. That was during the Iran hostage deal, and they were giving out "Iran sucks" buttons.
