How long before Sears goes outta business? We have a big Sears store here in Phx that is closing. We went in to look at what they had & it wasn't much. Not even marked down for a "closing sale". I kinda hate that Sears is almost gone. When I was a kid, it was Sears or Pennys for most of what we bought. Times change.....

Went to Ace a few months ago. Was working on the lawn mower and can count on 1 hand the times I needed a 1/4 drive ratchet. Ace was selling Craftsman tools. Bought a 1/4 inch ratchet.. POS right out of the package. Cheapest plastic head I have ever seen. I have a half inch drive Craftsman from late 80's that still works like a champ. I have a 3/8ths Snap on from the same time frame that just recently the head started slipping. I should of gone to Harbor Freight. Quality and pride for whoever is making craftsman tool these days is not there. Cost saving and exploiting the once good name for home mechanics is now ruined.
