I used to love the Red Sox, especially when I lived in Boston in the late 80's. The fact that they hadn't won a World Series in such a long time was part of the allure. Now I dislike them as much as I dislike the Yankees. Go Rays!

I'm with Mark, I'd love to see the Rays win it all. Isint awesome to watch a team who's never even had a winning season before finally it take to the Yanks and Boston.

As hard as it is for me to give the Red Sox their props, they KNOW how to win. That series clincher against the Angels proved it. Hopefully the Rays make it and get to face the Dodgers. Unfortunately, I`ve got this sick feeling that Manny is going to be facing his old teammates in the Fall Classic.

Even after the BoSox success of late it doesn't bother me that they keep winning. It's the Yankee's that I really DO NOT LIKE. So good luck to the fans of the teams left. My A's were out of it early!!

I was kidding there Markah. Hello, dont you know that Houston is home to the 4 time WNBA World Champion Comets? Ha ha. They won like the first 3 or 4 years in a row and I dont think they ever had a crowd over 8k and now its more like 4k. I will admit that I'm not the biggest basketball fan but Pam and I do go to a few Rockets games. I enjoy them, but I tried watching a Comets game once and lets just say this: I can watch golf but I cant watch the WNBA. The pace of hte game was so different. It was like watching paint dry.

I too am a Mets fan and a fan of anyone beating the Yankees. I quit liking the Yankees around 1974. I entered the lottery for playoff tickets and had my name drawn. I had four tickets waiting for me at Will-Call at Shea. I hadn't been back to my native NY since 1999 and was ready to go. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Long suffering Rays fan is an oxymoron. I bet there are a lot of people on here that have underwear older than the Rays. Look, I am glad someone new has found there way into the fall classic, but let's not get carried away ... remember the Rockies miracled their way in there last year and where are they now? The Rays have the worst fans in the bigs, they play in the worst stadium in the bigs and before this year only 2 things ever happened to that franchise: Wade Boggs got his 3,000th hit with them and Disney made the movie "The Rookie" END OF LIST. AND their celebrity fan is Dick Vitale !?!?!?!
