red bull does a lot of cool stuff; recently.....
- the one-off snow pipe made for shawn white high up in san juans
- sponsored pastrana's new year's subaru jump across h2o onto barge
....now this bmx park in australia.

red bull used to be involved with sports compact racing?
sure wish they had a larger footprint in drag racing; nhra or otherwise.

It is interesting why Red Bull isn't involved in NHRA drag racing (too many dopey politics maybe?), IHRA drag racing (too much circus for even them?) or any of the other leagues... I do some music things with the company, and the marketing folks love to hear about the kid's jr. career, see pics and videos and how he's working on his marketing skills- but nary a nibble from the same folks that could put us in front of the same marketing folks that invest in dozens of other sports that reach the same age group.

With the whole "we play when we own it" mentality the company lives by, maybe a visit from AJ to explain how the Al Anabi deal works might light a fire?

should have maybe said 'half-pipe' - in 2009 redbull, assisted by oakley
built this half-pipe way up in CO san juans next to silverton ski area.
heli or sno-cat served only - was advertised as 'shawn white's' private halfpipe,
but was used by numerous red bull and oakley riders

Red Bull doesn't actually sponsor teams, particularly in auto racing. They buy or build one and handle all the members like employees. Same for the other sports they are involved in- it's not just a sticker on the car- they actually are the boss. Similar to The Sheik's deal with AJ- AJ runs the team, but the Sheik holds the reigns...
