Thanks for posting this. I love reading about what a "surreal" place Lions was. I even went as far as track it down on Google Earth a month or so ago (was surprised that nobody else hadn`t already marked it)

Anyhow Carl summed it up perfect:

"...there will never be another place like Lions Drag Strip. It's just not possible in this day and age, and never will be again."

Thanks for the link.Don't know how I missed that thread. I'm still hoping we can some day, get back into the old Mater posts. There are some great threads about Lions and OCIR, that everyone seemed to enjoy.
