And why is this problem primarily with Rick Ware Racing?
I'd like to see MFG of the rear end do the complete gear install and see what happens. Eliminate any RWR involvement on the setup.

Didn't know that, so that adds even more to the question to the mistery.Harry,
I'm pretty sure that when the new rear comes from Chrisman, they take it out of the crate and put it in the car.

A lot of teams will service them themselves, especially the Chrismans.Harry,

Crap from China’s steel millsForeign made gear sets in the Chrisman's are the problem they figured, they can't get no American made gears right now. They switched Tony's car to a Strange, and they are using what American made gear sets they have left for the Chrisman's in Clay's car. Back when the Strange gears where breaking they were foreign made gear sets also, rumor is it was "dirty" metal in those.
Not that hard to sell cheaper when there steel is junk, cost our off road team a bunch when were getting our sequential 5 speed mendiola rebuilt, 2nd gear steel was China trash, made a real mess!!!! $$$there is a company who makes shears (like shears on an excavator that cut and rip thru metal), that even sponsored a very well
known TF team for one race a few years ago. my buddy is retired from that company. he flew to shanghai, china as part of his normal
routine as a buyer for this company. it would ship to san francisco, then rail across to MN. he told me numerous times the quality,
price, and shipping far outweighed domestic or even south american steel. ..... this was not recent and today's tariffs were not
in effect then.
Mike, I didn’t know France produced their own steelChrisman ring and pinions come from France.
Just saying where the R&P come from.Mike, I didn’t know France produced their own steel
Mike; Steve uses Motive Gear exclusively which is based in Italy !Chrisman ring and pinions come from France.
Who's not smart enough to make their own , but will pay a five-step; 500% markup so "managers" can keep theirSteel made in China, sold to Russia, who sells it to Poland, who sells it to England, who sells it to France, who sells it to US.
