Quickest top fuel field ever?

Read somewhere that this is the quickest top fuel field ever. Is that true?

Since the cars get quicker by the hour, it's a very believable statement that gets tossed around by the media several times a season.

3.75 is #1, took a 3.85 to make the show. Only .10 gap in the entire field. A 3.79 is only good enough for 10th!

It's very true, I believe the previous quickest bump was a 3.88.
