I could only speak for myself. I always like jumping across the wakes behind the skiiers because I could get what i called good air time. And I was always careful to stay a safe distance behind them, but i did have a boat or two chase me down because their skiier fell, and they thought i was too close. I wasn't what I considered to be too close to them (at least a good 20 or 30 yards behind them), but I certainly respected the fact that they felt I was and apologized. It's all about respect for your fellow boaters just like on the road. We're not sure why they must hang out in my wake but doing so must be printed in the "must do" section of the "read before operation."
With all the type colors, I'd say it's an evolution alright...this is another evolution.

Evolve back to basic font, and be done with the color crayons already...Or are you trying to use this as a color chart because the salesman says, I got a killer deal on this yellow beauty, but the blue one doesn't come with the horn and cup holder options...
Ride that thing on down here Alan, and I'll meet ya at the cantena... Just watch the wake boarders and drunks... And the gators as well...Holy Crap, what's that all about??
It must be. Cannot count the times I thought one was going to hit my boat trying to get too close when I was just gettin the bugs worked out of my L boat. It is not like I make a wake good enough to jump. We're not sure why they must hang out in my wake but doing so must be printed in the "must do" section of the "read before operation."

I've been on both side of the fence and can tell you that MOST PWC riders are careless! When we were teaching a younger cousin to ski years back, we had a PWC rider getting ready to "pounce" on our wake as soon as we passed...not seeing the young skier behind our boat!!! He nailed the throttle and realized we were towing a skier and stopped and turned right at the crest of our wake!!! I honestly thought I was watching my cousin's final seconds of his life!!! My uncle who's son was the skier jumped into the water with my cousin while my father who was driving took off after the PWC who was "fleeing the scene" FAST!!! Lucky for us PWC werent nearly as fast back then and we were able to catch him pretty quickly. Lake police was called by people in another boat who happened see what happened and picked up the 2 in the water. Nobody was arrested, but the PWC rider was given more than 1 citation.
