Why the change to Sat.? Will this be for ALL the races??
That's just wrong! I figured if the picks were moved forward a day, the deadline would be midnight of the new day. Please reset the picks deadline time!

Still should have put picks in if you were here yesterday then changed them later. That wasn't fair the last time for the people who didn't know they opened it back up. They need to just pick a deadline and stick to it. No moving the deadline up or anything because of rain Friday night ect. Just my opinion but they should have the deadline before qualifying starts because it just turns into a pick the top qualifier fest. This coming from someone who has definitely benefited from changing picks on Friday night.

I thought you just let people use their last picks if they missed once. I will say it's not fair! Not my game and not my call but I put in thought out picks yesterday which turned out to be good now people can change their picks to make sure they don't meet in first and second rounds. Not cool! Once again everyone will have the same pick and nothing will change in the points. Might as well end the season now.

I got back in on picks on Daylight Savings Time issue early in the season. Others have been let back in because of other issues. I know how to play this game when I'm ahead . . . I can match Bob's picks and he can't catch me. I'm not going to do that - if I win again it will be fair and square. Three more races - no more deadline changes.

At the final race of last season I was first place going into it. I had put picks in but when I went in to change them it said "server error". I told PJ I wanted to change my picks and I couldn't. I logged in on three different devices and it said the same thing.That Sunday hurt because Mike Larson passed me and won the season. Had I changed the picks I wanted to I would have won. I didn't complain or try to get special preference. I lost and I left it at that but it wasn't even my fault. Just because someone didn't put picks in when they should have it shouldn't have given everyone a chance to change their picks. If someone isn't on here or doesn't read this thread they have no idea the rules are changed because of one complaint. He misunderstood the cut off date. If you look at the rest of the races they show a Saturday date. I'm in Ohio and all of the recent races were a 6 a.m. cut off. Nothing has changed. Trust me I know this for a fact because I'm up early every Saturday waiting to see the other players picks so I know when the game has been being cut off.

It appeared to have adjusted early for some reason, I don't know why. People got blocked out. Personally I think you should put your picks in Monday before the race that way you don't cut it too close. Next season that will be made clear from that start, if you wait, you risk being locked out.
Forget who said about using picks from the last race, when I was still doing it on a spreadsheet we allowed that for a year, maybe two but it was a pain in the butt. With the new system, it is not loaded to do that.

That was absolutely not the case on my end. I was up all night and as of Saturday 4 am I could still change my picks. I logged on many many times to check to see what others picked. When I checked again after 11 am Saturday it had locked out at 6 am. When reopened it cut off at 3 am Sunday morning. Unless you see something wrong on you end don't believe everything you hear. Bob never said he was locked out on Friday. He said he didn't try until Saturday afternoon.

didn't somebody suggest making your location Hawaii so the time zone was the furthest? Maybe their time zones are messed up

Wow ... You guys really stay up until 4 am, monitor everyone else's picks, and set your time zones to Hawaii just to gain an edge in PTW?!?!? I don't know what to say.

That would still make the cut off at midnight Friday night if they are 6 hours behind me in Ohio. It's like someone showing up late to work. You know when you should be there so don't blame the employer and ask for special treatment when others obey the rules.

I don't stay up just to see picks. I don't sleep well so I'm logging on periodically while I'm watching TV or doing paperwork. I have fun playing the game so I do follow it closely. It's not fun when the points and rules seem to get muddied up though. I probably do follow things closer than most but it's kind of an escape from a job that seemingly occupies my mind 24 hours a day.
....still fun
