Got loose and tapped the wall.. damage wasnt to bad from the looks of it. It was HOT out... hate to see what the track temp was.

Did it happen on a run or the burnout? I know how proud he was of that paint job...I may wait a few days before I dial the phone!

On a run.. and yeah, it had a nice paint job.. Thought they might have just used duct tape and ran again but they didnt.

Randy had the car apart and Jim Cowan did some inspection on the car. The chassis is perfect and straight. The right front strut is already at Lamb being re-built. Randy already has new tires that will be added to the one wheel. The car is being inspected by one of the lousiest carbon fiber guys on the planet tonight, and the carbon will be back together by the end of next week. The carbon guy is going to touch up the paint as good as can be expected. I think the wheelie bars took a hit too, and Cowan can take care of that. Randy is in great spirits and is taking this like it is really nothing at all.

I say call him right away and give him a REAL hard time!
But the carbon guy may need some 'abrasive' supplies to fix that mess.

Oh yeah, great pictures. Thanks for that. I heard about the event, but getting to see it is so much better.

The track was real hot, I heard at least 150*. Hard to put any power down when it's that hot.
