That pilot did a marvelous job! The crew came threw in the clutch to keep people calm and get them out of the cabin. Also lots of credit should go to all the ferry boat captains, the first responders of NY, and the Coast Guard for getting people off the plane to warmth and safety. There is talk of a ticker tape parade-it's been a long time since that's happened.

I saw in the paper today that the first ferries were there less then 2 min after it hit the water!

That's what I'd heard on the news too. That people on the ferries were giving up coats and scarves to warm the passengers. God Bless America!

So glad that noone was hurt and that everything was textbook emergency procedure. Its always so sad to hear the tragic outcomes...I'm glad this one ends on a positive note.
And kudos to the promod driver for pluggin his sponsors! I'm sure the experience wasn't exactly his normal wild ride down the the strip! Once as racer, always a racer though!

Obviously VERY glad to hear that he and everyone else got out safely in what can only be considered a miracle!!
