Does anyone know why PRO decided to go to Vegas rather than Wild Horse? I know that there are teams currently at both venues. It would seem that Wild Horse would be the better choice since conditions in Vegas are cool and the conditions in Phoenix would likely mimic the conditions in February when the second event of the season is run there.

We at Wild Horse and PRO were unable to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. Wild Horse testing is a private test and closed to the public. But nothing is wrong with our recently ground/polished part of the track directed by our Ron Conner. Tasca ran 3.89 ride out of the box at around 11 am.
They have them at the NASCAR track right now, that event is first. They will bring them back to the drag strip for the 4 Wides. Then they will take them back to the NASCAR track for the race in September, then bring them back to the drag strip for the Toyota Nationals.
Chris Morel out of Reno. It’s an ex Capps car that he has been putting together the last couple of years. He was entered in Vegas2 last year with Tim Gibbons behind the wheel but never made an attempt. He did get his license this weekend but wouldn’t expect him to run much more than Sonoma and Vegas. Aaron Brooks was helping him with the car at one point but not sure if he still is.
