Pontieri Looks to Dallas to regain momentum

<p>(9-19-2008) ENnis TX--Tony Pontieri is ready for Dallas "We just had some little gremlins during the Indy race but I know we'll be fine at Dallas. We have a great race team over here. I think everyone else is way more worried about us than we are." Pontieri and his crew had the Rob “The Boss”Sporring sponsored 57 Chevy Bel Air , sponsored by Quality Plus Compressors, running strong all year until Indy as their consistent performance paid dividends with a solid showing. “We had a burp at Indy and it was a bump in the road, but we pick up and move forward. ” Pontieri said
“When we talk about what we're gonna do with the tune-up we're thinking we can't get too crazy because we don't have the time to fix stuff. What happened was we ended up with this really consistent racecar." Pontieri. “We have Dallas plus 2 races to go, and now is the time to step up and make something happen.”
"I want to say that I am really saddened by the Death of my friend Steve Engel. He always had time for his fellow competitors to share a laugh, or just a smile and a wave. I will miss the big guy at the track, and our crew and families are praying for Tonya, Stevie, Micheal and all of his family in this time of heartbreak. RIP Steve, I'm proud to have had the opportunity to know you." said Pontieri
