I noticed NHRA scheduled the Friday Pro session at 1:30? I thought they wouldn't run Fuel cars during the weekrior to 3 PM cause of school??? I heard that years ago....

Sounds like they want everybody out of there by 5 -and- it greatly reduces the odds of running up against curfew.

Hey guys I realize Pomona has a curfew but do we have people lobby the LA County Board of Supervisors for an extension of said curfew. Some extra dollars to the community and the county.

I seem to recall the sessions being closer to noon than 3pm. This schedule seems like what I remember from years past.

Bruce, the issue isn't LA (as in Los Angeles) it's LA as in LaVerne. The neighboring town that abuts the track. They're the ones with the curfew. And they ain't budging.

I have gone to Pomona over 20 times, they have always run the Fuel cars at 2:30-3PM on Thurs-Fri! Till this year....

Huh, I guess I've been to so many nat'l events they start blurring together...

The issue was always the Kids being in School! Maybe They worked out some sort of Deal!
