For the record, I don't see this happening.

Since John treated the US Nationals like a WWE event by going in the tank for Robert, I think it would only be fitting to have a one round winner take the 10th spot in Concord qualifying. I am sure the WT JFR fans will show their true colors again by calling Cruz a bunch of childish names.
 
No, no, no, Paul. What would happen is that Force would whoop the crap out of the Pedregons -- and then they would cry some more. Because that's what they do.

They're never satisfied until they get their way. So sorry that you have to put yourself with the crybabies.

Maybe IF Cruz doesn't like the outcome of the championship in Pomona we can have a DO OVER of that too. :rolleyes:
 
It's just what the Ped's do best, crying when things don't go their way. They need to get over themselves, Cruz blew his chance at the 10th spot by getting whooped by John, and Cruz doesn't deserve another shot at it. I would just love to see AAP drop Cruz, and sponsor Mike Neff.

What if the tables were tunred and Robert got screwed out of the countdown. Would you guys defend them for there decision? I doubt most would....

I agree though this is a stupid idea... Live and learn and put better rules in place to not have to worry about this in the future

I wouldn't be happy about it at all, but this is how things work. Robert (if he would have lost) should have done something before the last round of the year...can't blame Cruz for taking the 10th spot. He would have had all year.

I am appalled at Cruz's request to Tom Compton. Unbelievable.
 
I cannot believe the Pedregons even made this proposal, talk about being sore losers. Cruz HAD the chance to win this deal, he should have taken Force out in round two, period, end of story.

Matt Smith, he's a champion, Chris Rivas, he handled his self like a champion, neither one of them cried a tear last fall in Pomona when the Harley Team took one for the team in order to win the Championship.

Maybe with a flagman (Pinks Style).

just one more reason why the countdown sucks and how it has helped take our sport further away from where it needs to be.

Rather than focusing on what was one hell of a good race. Side by side passes, close racing, First lady nitro win in ages,...no no lets focus on some also rans who haven't been able to do crap all season fight for the last spot in some make believe championship.

* We didn't have enough points at the end of the forth quarter of the football game. Can't we have another quarter? It's only fair.
* At the end of the second half of the basketball game our team was behind but everybody knows we were better. Can't we get some more time on the clock to prove it? That's fair.
* The third period ended in the hockey game and we were only one point down and that point came from an accidental deflection into the net. Let us have another period? Seems fair, right?
* When the votes were all tallied we were still behind our opponent. Can't we recount? Please count them again and again and maybe have a re-vote?

What a crock of crap! I posted they should lose their sportsmanship trophy for all the name calling, poor sportsmanship and grandstanding their anger against the real victor but this tops it all?

If there's a runoff here we're going back in history and taking care of a bunch of other injustices. I can tell you without hesitation that Wilk and Doug Kalitta will both have world championships if we do.

Man, this whole thing just keeps getting funnier by the day. This guy is making himself out to be the biggest joke in drag racing (obviously some of you will want to reply that Force is already the biggest joke, but it's too predictable so save your keystrokes).

Here's the most laughable part of it all:
