Tough break for pat, runs 6.14 and wrecks at the top end, fortunately he got out of the car himself, but what a worse time to wreck, 3 weeks before you come back to RP. I hope Pat can get a car ready for that event.

Of course we would not know this by reading the NHRA.com results. **** we wouldn't even know what type of engine Cheesman's running or what Matos or Maier are running.

i'm sure . . .your wrong.. . .when Chuck was running a ta/fc he was using Veney style motors. . . .he now runs the common BAE combo. AND it's alot more than just changing heads. About the only thing similar in the two is that the spark plugs still go in the top of the heads.

Bruce, when CC ran in FC he was a player, back in 91-92 he was one of few racers running 5's back when 5.90's were good numbers! Of course having Boggs as a tuner didn't hurt!

That's what it looked like from our vantage point. Two other cars had the same issue.

My wife had the same procedure for the same reason. Got T-Boned by an old Chevy Blazer and fractured two vertebrae in her lower back. They'll do a lumbar fusion, which isn't that difficult but the recovery period is way long. Don't know if Musi smokes, but if he does he needs to quit. It's crucial, particularly during the first month after this type of surgery.

I wish him a successful recovery and luck in 2012. He's done for 2011. Thank God it wasn't worse.

ummmm absolutely nothing Joe! where did you read that into what i posted? . . .He ran Veney stuff in the funny car. . he runs BAE stuff now! that's all I put. . .And yes I knew he used to and still talks to Steve Boggs. . .So how did you come up with the sentence above from what I posted? maybe you should go back and read the posts again before giving me a WTF.
