Little bit of history for you folks on this board. The only all Ford Top Fuel final. It was a match between Don Prudhomme and Pete Robinson in a pair of Cammer diggers. All of this happening at Bristol during the NHRA Springnationals. Prudhomme won it.

I saw Pete Robinson at Lions a few weeks before he died. He ran a 6.50 ET with the Cammer motor. I think that was the quickest ET ever for a Cammer T/F car at the time, Always wonder how Pete would have done if he hadn't passed.

It pretty much had to be Robinson, the Snake, or Kalitta. I wonder how often - if at all - at least two of these guys got into the semi's with their Ford engines at the same event.
