When are they going to announce the points structure for 2008? And for that matter when are they going to announce the location of the TBA race? As far as the points structure I'm fearing the worst and if I get anything less than the worst I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't know about anyone else, PJ included, but my personal feeling is that the points structure and the TBD race are the least of our worries... at least based on all the terrible news on the streets lately:

1. The very real potential of no testing @ LVMS for the fuel cars for safety reasons (tires). What does this mean for the rest of the season?
2. Chassis issues unresolved in both fuel categories, particularly Funny Car.
3. Evan Knoll pulling sponsorship money - full degree unknown.
4. Gilbertson losing sponsorship.
5. Tolliver to DSR.
6. Etc.

I'm an optimistic guy, but the 'bad' is rapidly gaining on the 'good' in our beloved sport...
