Top to bottom, todays ESPN2 broadcast was some good TV. From the actual run between tony and Dixon, some good stories in FC, great speeds and racing in pro stock with Krisher taking the win-and pro bike with craig treble capturing a well deserved Wally!
Plus the cameras from the 'stands', Jack with the hand held...the comparison between our our cars and the rockin rollercoaster, and many more.
Good show ESPN!

I didn't get to watch it all, but I liked what I saw!

Even qualifying was great for what we got.

ESPNCL should show the race again Monday 12:00 CST, at least they have on all the other races this year. Excellent race and no bump at transition from concrete to asphalt like last year.

That was one heck of an explosion. It even bend some of the frame rails in front of the driver, so it was a bad one. He definitely did a good job keeping it in his lane without hitting anything.

I'll throw my two cents in as well, hopefull that the decision makers for the broadcast look into this kind of stuff. It was a good broadcast, loved the "vintage" flashbacks of former winners and milestones. Hope they use the last couple shows as a model of what they plan on doing for the rest of the year. GOOD STUFF ESPN2 and all that put the show together!

I didn't get to see much of the Sunday show - but I did see the qualifying and I liked and appreciated how they acknowledged Scott Kalitta's 1st NHRA win happend at Houston in '89 in his Oldsmobile, driving with a cast on his leg. For some reason I didn't think ESPN could access or show any of that old TNN/Diamond P stuff for legality reasons. That was Cool.
