No Win for GA this weekend!

I'm going this weekend and it seems to be the only track he hasn't won at....hmm?

Nope, he's qualified #1 before and gone out 1st round, so I say my track and he isn't winning! :)

My streak has been broken...Erica had him covered but was late on the tree.
But I guess when you can sell motors for 700k each to other teams, you have enough money to R & D more than others.

You can only sell something for what people are willing to pay. Everyone else in the class has the same opportunity to sell their motors too...............there just has to be a demand for them. ;)

Well a .031 isn't too shabby.... but when your competition fired off an .011 it's really tough. You can tell Greg Anderson really didn't want to be an answer to a trivia question. ;)

And don't worry about EE..... she'll get hers soon enough. :)

Yes. Of course. Greg and Jason win races because of money. It has nothing to do with hard work. They were both born into great wealth and have never worked a day in their cumulative lives. Doesn't this mantra get a little tired?

The entire KB racing team is one of the hardest working teams in drag racing! Don't tell that to the haters though.

I really dislike when ppl moan about advantages racers may have over the opponents. Money, sponsors, minds, etc.

It's like that person never got one advantage in his/or her life. Never got one break.

Congrats to Greg. I thought Erica was going to have a memorable first win. Beating WJ, then Mike Edwards, Jason Line and possibly Greg would have been one for the record books. Championships galore.

Oh well. It's why you run'em. To see just who is the best.

Take Summit away from them and a few others and see if they'll spend their own money and where that'll get em'.

How do you think they got to where they are at Sue?

I remember when Greg left WJ and got out there on his own, with the help of Ken Black/Vegas General Construction on the side of the car. He and his team worked there a$$es off, showed that the performance was there, won a few races from 2001-02 and eventually the bigger corporate sponsorship came about.

You don't think that they (especially KB) were spending some of their own money back then? I can give you one guess as to where that got them

Greg Anderson was winning races before he ever teamed up with Ken Black. KB Racing was winning races and a Championship before teaming up with Summit.

Exactly KB's money....not GA's. He drove Marnell out of his ride if I am correct too. Hmm...married Kim, another relation there too.

Lance, you must be referring to wins as a crew chief with WJ, because his first win as a driver was in 2001 at Bristol.....and yes, it was with Ken Black and a host of others (Troy Humphrey and George Marnell).

My memory faded a bit, I thought that Greg won the US Nationals in '99, actually he was runner up to Warren. His first win in '01 was in Troy Humphry's car, but you are correct, they were already teamed up with KB and Marnell.
