Why is there a curfew,i dont see anything around it that would be disturbed?

There isn't much but there are at least a couple of neighbors within a mile or a little less. They are occasionally shown on the "establishing" or panoramic shots that open the TV show.

They are few but very vocal and at least one has political connections.

Edit: I will add that the topographical features on the east side of the racetrack do allow the sound to carry. When the wind is right I can hear the fuel cars run and I live 14 miles away (by Google).

The vocal guy ("the judge") lives on a hill top about a mile from the track. I'm sure it sounds like the cars are running through his living room. Infineon should buy him some Hawaiian vacation tickets when NHRA comes to town.

It figures, the track was prob there 1st lol. Tell them to turn a loud fan on and get over it. They wont hear nothing. lol

I would bet that they have, I would also bet that they have done the same thing in Pomona where they are in a similar predicament. I would also bet that to the people that complain it's more about control than noise.
