No "Q" Points...WHY?? (1 Viewer)

Ok, there was a clock problem. It happens.
Weather only allowed 1 Q time. Ok, fine.
nhra makes decision to stand by the clocks to determine the 16 quickest cars. And the order. Ok, fine.

Then why not award the Qual. points to those that qualifyied???

Because without knowing exactly who really ran what...it's not fair to award points for qualifying positions.

So nobody gets any...and that's really the only way they could do it.

Zap, they were having problems most of the day yesterday with the electronics. Prolly didn't help when that stocker took out the tree on Thursday.

It was a good call. They knew those times weren't right but they knew because they made in down the track that they should be in. No sense giving them 1st and 2nd place points knowing the are wrong. I like the call.
