The connection between Norwalk might be that Cornwell is based out of Wadsworth, OH and founded in an Akron suburb.I was surprised too being that it was the "Cornwell Night of Fire".
I wonder how many interviews you've listened to? He seems totally opposite to me, their have been lots of interviews at the track and in the media since his accident. This year he's at every race and at the starting line for every run supporting his team. When tv shows him at the starting line l think he looks fairly happy and content in his new role. He's 76 years young and got his "bell" severely rung and he knows he's not going to drive a nitro FC again and has pretty much said as much.I was surprised by that too. But to be honest, John just doesn’t seem himself when he’s interviewed. I’m not sure if it’s accident related, or he just doesn’t like the fact that he’s not driving. I almost think it’s the latter. He loved being behind the wheel so much, maybe he just doesn’t have the same exuberance for just being a team owner.
I was going to post the same thing. John does not look happy anymore. When one of his cars makes a killer run he doesn't look excited or even smile. Sad deal for one of the most passionate and excitable stars in NHRA's history.I was surprised by that too. But to be honest, John just doesn’t seem himself when he’s interviewed. Do either of you ever watch Nhra.tv?I was going to post the same thing. John does not look happy anymore. When one of his cars makes a killer run he doesn't look excited or even smile. Sad deal for one of the most passionate and excitable stars in NHRA's history.
I’ve subscribed since day 1. I’ve also watched countless interviews with John Force over many years. If you think his recent interviews are anything close to his previous ones, then I don’t even know what to say. His recent interviews are more like Jimmy Prock, than John Force. I’m not disparaging John in any way. I’m just making an observation that he doesn’t seem like the same old John Force to me. Like somebody else said, it could just be he doesn’t have the same adrenaline he did after hopping out of one of those beasts.Do either of you ever watch Nhra.tv?
No of course he's not the same old John Force. He's in a different place in his life now. One thing thats a given is that all our lives change.I’ve subscribed since day 1. Force is the GOAT in my opinion. Yes, I subscribe and watch NHRA.TV all the time, that's where I got my opinion that he doesn't seem happy. That is all.Do either of you ever watch Nhra.tv?
THANK YOU!Give John a break for God's sake. Look back at all the fires and crashes he's been through.
The man has had a life many of us would've loved to be in.
