Fun reading all the observations. For all of you fellow Nhra.Tv watchers, do you remember the grin on John's face when Brittany reset the all time top speed record twice?

Nailed it! No matter what happens on track, watching it happen will never equal the adrenaline rush of doing it.

I saw a little smile and heard him say "looked pretty scary to me..." Which is probably what he said right after we watched him make a pass at the 'Plex one evening about 9pm when he complained about poor vision because his car was full of clutch dust. Imagine being in your 70s, looking through a little slit of a windshield and a cloud of black crap, trying to keep an 11,000hp car in one lane - in the dark - at 338mph? Elon Musk's "Big Balls" DOGE guy has nothing on John Force.

Looked pretty scary to me, indeed.

Why? JFR was JFR long before his daughters drove. John has made it clear there's nowhere else he wants to be other than the racetrack. Nobody knows the future, but I think JFR will still be around awhile.

I was going to post the same thing. John does not look happy anymore. When one of his cars makes a killer run he doesn't look excited or even smile. Sad deal for one of the most passionate and excitable stars in NHRA's history.

Severe head trauma can do that to you. He will very likely live with the after effects of that for the rest of his life

It's a real shame Force's driving career likely ended with that terrible crash.
Personally, I'd like to see him get medically cleared to do a 1000 foot, Chi-Town Hustler style burnout, back it all the way up the track and shut it off. Then, after he gets out of the car, peel his name off the car, and put Beckman's name in its place.
There wouldn't be a dry eye in the house.

He's always raving about the Grandkids and goes to their races. I've heard him say the "kids" are the future of JFR including Austin and Tom Prock. Stay tuned...

Yep that would be awesome and like I posted to a similar post in another thread, have Coil there waiting for him, and after the name change, he and Coil shake hands and walk off together. Would truly be a show for the ages.

i'm glad he wasn't killed in that accident, and can still have a great life outside the cockpit.
