Nice Article about the NHRA's Re-Launch in Indy by Susan Wade

Just for my own curiosity what defines a "spectator"? Anyone not actually competing, I presume? The reason I ask is because Indianapolis allowed auto racing to operate at a 50% capacity but NHRA only allowed in 3,000. Do crew and family members (for pros and sportsmen) count as "spectators"?

No ulterior motive here just curious is all.

I could not find the source again to provide the link but I recall reading that anyone not directly involved in the racing operation is a spectator.
