Another good reason for NOT running the NHRA Poweraide or LODRS series.

Love there justification. "due to the economy"....lol. Aren't they supposed to be helping racers "due to the economy"????? They're not getting enough people in the gates, so they'll stick it to those who can least afford it. Wonder how much of a pay cut Compton took, "due to the economy"

it really sucks for those of us that have class cars, as bracket racing them just isn't really an option

Here is some good thinking...

Sell your stocker engine, build or buy a decent bracket engine, put some money in your pocket and go racing. And you can do it all in one day and not have to travel. It ain't that bad
