This weekend is our Winter Rod and Speed Show which benefits a local girl with a brain tumor. Seattle's Jim Rockstad got involved and now we have all kinds of NHRA racers and legends helping us out with a ton of auction items including Ed the Ace McCulloch, Clay Miliken's Hope For Sudan team, Main Gate and a couple of others I won't name yet.
This show was a struggle to get going at first but now we are completely full at 100 entries. We even have the Merc from American Graffiti, the car from Beverly Hills Cop, The Scream Pro Mod, and the Tiki Warrior Funny Car among many other attractions!
If you are in the Northwest, take a road trip to Albany Oregon this Saturday. The show goes from 9 AM to 9 pm at the Linn County Expo Center. Or go to home cap racing for more info.
