BRISTOL, Tenn. – Kevin Fiscus secured the No. 1 qualifying position Saturday in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series portion of the Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway and then claimed his opening round victory over Jim Bell.

Other top seeded first round winners included Mike Castellana, Steve Matusek, and Jim Laurita.
