NHRA Kansas as test case (7 Viewers)

Splitting this idea from another thread because it's a different topic, but it was mentioned the new facility near Kansas City lacks pit space.

While I'm not a fan of races without sportsmen, would NHRA consider a national event with the 4 pro classes, plus maybe Factory Stock, Factory X, and perhaps some combo of nitro harley/ TF bike/Mtn Motor PS with max qualified fields of 8 in the nitro bike or MMPS classes?

That would save several hundred pit spots and still allow for a national event west of the Mississippi. It could be a test to see how an event with mostly pro classes would work.

(Pro Mod was omitted only because that class seems to max out at 10ish races. If PM is included, some portion of the other classes could be nixed).

It's not just the pit space, it's the horrible bottleneck to the staging lanes.

I was under the impression that Flying H was designed to be the best designed and thought out track in igsistance. But what I'm hearing it's far from it.

The facility is top-notch, but unfortunately they had some constraints with the layout due to the positioning of the dirt track, and the available land surrounding it. Add in the fact that the dirt track has different owners it’s complicating things even more.
