When I bought my house in Atco in 2000, the realtor had to disclose that there was a race track nearby. It was sort of a joke between us since she knew I was moving here because of the track. Im one mile away. Im not sure if I signed anything related to that though. Im guessing it would have been to protect the realtor if anything.

The reason Etown stopped drag racing, in my opinion, was the residents. Between the noise complaints and traffic concerns, it's hard to put blame on the Napp family. They just had enough of the twp beating them up.

Atco didn't have noise complaints, only some traffic complaints for large attended events. The twp FB page actually had residents saying they miss hearing the cars and that the town lost our identity. Many that never probably been there miss it.
We are all hoping that IHRA will step in but Darryl really has to hate his money to purchase it close to what it was sold for.
I'm sure MG was bought for less as a running track than the 12M for Atco was sold for with it stripped to the bones.
