Welcome to the Mater, Greg! I worked in the greater STL area off and on in the 1999 - 2004 era and one of the things I miss is Test & Tune at Gateway. You just never knew what might show up from week to week.

Good luck keeping up with Kepner... that guy's forgotten more than most people know when it comes to drag racing! One place you won't find him, however, is here. I'm not sure why but he doesn't participate here. He does post from time to time over on www.Promodsource.com.

Yep....Test & Tune nights have become quite interesting in the last few years. A lot of NHRA guys rent the track during the day during the week on stopovers between events......lots O' rubber on the line then. Plus, more and more rediculouisly fast machines are running during the Tuesday street tire shootouts. Each year gets faster and more competitive. 12's don't even make the cut anymore for quick 16.....these are mostly street driven cars too.
As far as keeping up with Brett..........that's tongue in cheek. He's probably forgotten more than I'll even know. Hmmmmmm rabbits? Nah...had a couple of cats.....NOT a rabbit guy. Later.
