New site in the works...

The new 121nitrofc.com site is nearing completion. You can check out part of the new identity package I designed and the new site should be live in a week or less.

Stay tuned...it should be pretty cool!

Very interesting, tell us a little about what kind of site it is going to be.
What are some of the department names?
Are you primarily looking for racers or spectators or both?
Will there be a cost, to join your new site?
Are you planning a live chat room?

Just wondering…

No, I am building a new site for Terry Haddock Racing. In fact, you can check it out now. It will be fully operational in another few days, but I think it is looking pretty good.

Let me know what you guys think. It is my first site for a nitro team...I'm pretty stoked!

i tried to open the link and suddenly my computer dumped oil all over my desk and it took an hour to clean up!

Thank you, Toby! The site looks great. If you want to add a few more pictures, I have a couple good ones from Englishtown. Terry's got a lot of fans in his home state. :)

Toby does GREAT work! He's also very passionate about the sport of drag racing and a very strong family man.

Can't wait to see the finished product for Terry.

Seriously folks, if you're a drag racer, business owner, run a non-profit organization and are looking for a great and very effective creative direction for your company.....NiTROhype Creative | Graphic Design at Full Throttle! is a great place to start.

This would be the guy that you hooked up with after you screwed John.

Hey guys...I didn't "hook up" with anyone.

Yes, I helped Tim build his site and I designed his initial set of logos. I did it at no charge as a part of my "stimulus package" offer that I offered up on here. Initially I had my link on his site and the work I did for him on the portfolio pages of my site. I thought it would add to my portfolio and hopefully drive more business, but several 'Maters messaged me and warned me that it would probably do just the opposite, so I removed all the links and chalked it up to experience. I spent the better part of 20 hours on the work and there is now really no evidence of it and I can't really "use it," per se, but I learned some things along the way, so it wasn't a total loss. I knew nothing about any of the issues at CRX and the rift there, and honestly didn't even know of Tim until he contacted me (I'm a relatively new 'Mater). The LAST thing I was trying to do was get in the middle of anything, and I knew nothing of the details at the time. I have done my best to stay out of it. It is none of my business either way.

I had offered to help at CRX as a freelancer before ever being contacted by Tim. I have called since and spoken with both Jason and John and cleared things up with them.

Like Tim said, I love my family, I am passionate about drag racing, and I really want to help teams succeed. I will say that I had absolutely nothing to do with the issues at CRX, in no way shape or form tried to or wanted to be involved in that rift, and did my best to back away slowly when I realized where I had tread. I'm just a guy trying to be successful on my own and build relationships with those in the drag racing community...not undermine those chances before I even really begin.

That's why I offered to do Terry's site. Hopefully my work will speak for itself. I'm not a charity by any means, but I figure if I can help out a guy along the way and ultimately convince some racers that an investment in my services will pay for themselves several times over, then that is what I am hoping to do.

Plus, it will be awesome to see my logo on the side of a nitro car, maybe even on ESPN :)
