They say that they are already cutting trees but I'll believe it when I see it. In the story you can almost miss where they mention the drag strip. Personally, I'd love to see a return of the Cajun Nationals. With Little E's track in Mobile and now this plan, should be interesting to see which, if either, track gets built.

Sounds alot like Jr's about 2 hrs down the road near Mobile.

Methinks thats a rather swampy area which is what killed the IHRA Mopar nat's at Shreveport.
It wasn't even raining anymore but the pits were a lake the last time they were scedulded to race there.
