Article says Zizzo is good and mentions support of Duane Shields at Indy, so, all seems good.

Wilber's cat blog <G> yesterday had a very informative write-up about the Traxxas involvememt and, if Peak wants to go there - that's good for everyone!

They attempted to steal Raybestos from the funny car team that was sponsored by the company.
It did not work in that situation.
NHRA will go to the sponsors rep and say" Why bother with one car? Come with us and get a race with your name. All sorts of signage and stuff."
The attempts to grab sponsors do go on. It is NOT a myth. NHRA lets the racer find interested companies, then tries to take the money. Believe it or don't.....

Why do you think nothing is said until it is a done deal. Years ago Compton and Light went to a sponsor of a new Nitro team to explain how much more being the Official "XYZ" Company of NHRA was worth.

Check with Hartman, Miller, Schumacher, or Kalitta.
