Wow. Darr, what do you make of that whole situation? Is Shaun in a position to bring some bucks to the team that JR wasn't able to do, or possibly some friction between JR and Morgan, or?

lot of rumors on this deal.. its out and about that several people on both TF teams were let go.JR's deal and Morgans also.....

this off season gets more and more confusing.... almost like the presidential race.....

seems like the Gov of Illinois is in charge...lol..... maybe he went to work for the NHRA too?...lol.....lol...(see new harley motor rules)...lol...

Never fear, Ma's here! I've spoken with Randy twice in the last two days. There's lots going on at the Lucas shop, but as far as I know (which may not be much), all the teams are still in tact.

I know Forrest & Morgan are eager to find a sponsor for the second car and/or cut costs. As is always the case, there's more to the release of JR than even I know. Things seem to be changing on an hourly basis, so I'll wait to hear more from Randy before saying anything else.

At this moment, both cars will be running in 2009....don't know what kind of schedule for the second car.

If this turns out to be true, it makes perfect sense as Langdon is already sposored by Lucas and it must be cheaper to run a 2nd TF than a SC.
Lucas is just taking all the money that was to go to sponsor Langdons' SC dragster and moving it over to the 2nd TF team.
