What is that extra exhaust pipe that is running down the bottom rail of the funny car do. Never seen it there before.....

It’s not exhaust, they come off the valve covers, merge together and go to the puke tank behind the driver.

i've seen this new system too and wondered why they don't vent thru frame rail like they used to?
or do some teams still vent thru frame rail? is the separate tube mandated now?
