New England Nationals Presented By bpro Auto Parts (15 Viewers)

Per Joe Castillo a fairly new company and new to the Nhra. Associate sponsor of Chad Green started at the Winternationals and primary sponsor at 3 more races starting this weekend.

today’s notes:

Congrats to Alexis and Langdon’s team for the lobster bonus.

Cruz has been running well.

Leah’s car is flying. Brian Husen is going to be a very valuable commodity after this season the way Langdon is running.

At least Shoe made it down the track

Procks are back in a big way.

How about that Kenny Delco all of the sudden? Hartford is helping.

the Bob Tascas are cool.

I saw them putting a level across the blower hat? On Leah’s car, what would they be measuring here?

Starting to become a fan of CGM this year. Those guys are the real deal, Chad currently 3rd in points.
Was curious about Dean Marinis and co-crew chief Joe Serena. Dean has a long history in drag racing, before tuning the FC he tuned Chad's Pro Mod. All 3 got their start in fuel funny cars with Tim and Daniel Wilkerson. Found a fascinating article about Dean in Drag Illustrated.

Just a wild @$$ guess. But the second photo looks like a distance measurement device. Fires a beam to whatever you're pointing and measures the distance. Seems their measuring the height of something. *shrug* I could be way off, again, just a guess LOL

Pittsburgh level, shop at Harbor Freight???

My guess is once the long level is centered, the small tool under it is zeroed and it is used to check the wing for max angle per rule book.

Larry Sutton---🤠
