A few weeks ago, at the "Roar of Lions" event at the Lions Automobilia Museum in Carson, I purchased the new book about Ed Pink. Ed was there to sign it with his wife and daughter also at the table.
It is an interesting read about one of our behind the scenes drag racing heros from the 1960's and 1970's. It is good to see books out in recent years about the Snake and Roland Leong, and this is a good one to add to the collection of any hard-core drag racing fan. If my math is correct, Ed is 93, and still is as sharp as ever, even with declining physical health.
I kind of hate to post this topic on this board, as it gets very little traffic compared to the main site. I may post this over on the NHRA board just so people will see it and hopefully buy the book.
