Unless something has changed. I doubt it would be at RT66.

I live right down the road and from what is being said local the same owners still own the track and the sanctioning body has changed. According to Licking County ownership has not changed. Big Ambitions LLC.
Someone jump the gun again or just bad information?
They are doing a ton of. upgrades there, I drive by regularly as it is only a mile or so from home.

Let's wait a few days, maybe a new deed hasn't been recorded yet. Or, perhaps, bad info - could be the owners reorganized and simply will deed it over to the LLC, PLC, INC, or whatever, not really a true sale.

Glad to hear that someone in investing in the place. Been 6 years since we were last up there. I really hope this bodes well.

Slightly off-topic - there at Rt 37 and US 40, did they put in roundabout or just re-do the interchange?

Redid it with turn lanes and signals, they did a nice job.

As a regular at Edgewater, I’m hoping and praying that we get the NHRA Lucas Oil divisional event that National Trail had. The owners of Edgewater have invested a fortune in improvements in the past 5 years and I hope they get the chance to show them off to the divisional racers. The Lucas Oil race would fit in good with the Nitro Chaos and Midwest Drag Racing Series events that the track already has.

Do they still open the gate in the shut down area for racecars to cross a local road?

As far as I know. No. IIRC that was only for TF and FC other classes have enough shut down. They still own the property across the street though if they ever need it.

Steve Evans and Brock Yates on the call. The weekend before at Seattle, they had a 8 car Top Fuel and a 8 car Funny
Car bookend show. It was a Saturday deal because Phillips and Dan Pastorini and a couple of others had to be at
National Trail the following weekend for the Springnationals. Man, I miss those bookend shows.

I thought the White family still owned that land and the track "leased" that little piece for the extension? But it's been a long time since I had heard about it.

Since the move to 1000 feet was made after the national event moved to Norwalk, it would be interesting to see results now.
