Yesterday I wrote a piece on RTs during Pomona qualifying in another place and noted that Justin Ashley and Will Smith not only produced good numbers, they did it across the rounds, not only one lucky shot or two. Here's what happened in eliminations. It's mindblowing
The ususl heads-up: Stats is a heady subject. The median table out to the right is based on all the rounds that a driver made in eliminations. IMO, it's worth taking a look at the last column in that table, "rounds". I've been wracking my brain on trying to figure out some sort of "PiPPi's median RT index" that includes the number of rounds a driver did in eliminations but that has lead to nothing.
On another note, I'm based in Sweden, 9 hours ahead of Pomona which made for a late night/early morning. I'm glad I kept up, the eliminations here were some of the best I've ever seen. In recent memory...
