ESPN2 had their 3, but I have a couple myself. Runner-up was Jeg Coughlin flipping the bird to Greg Anderson after his R1 win; the winner was Doug Kalitta's emotional win for Jim Oberhofer and the resulting starting-line WWF event. :D

Good win for the Kalittas; they had one coming.

Joey Severence's BIG save and the Lucas SS car that was WAYYYY sideways in the lights after that... Great driving jobs, both..

That one was past pulling a rabbit out of a hat ! That car was all but on its side .
Looked like the still driving wheel righted the car .

I was extremely happy to see Doug and the Kilitta team get a well deserved win .
Doug is just sneaking right up on it .

SO glad to see Doug, Jim, Connie and all the Kalitta team getting the win. Nice to hear Teri got a mention too!

I still can't believe he didn't crash that new car. Never thought I would have seen the underside of that dragster... from the finish line seats.

Another vote for the Kalitta team getting a win and now tied for first in the points.:D

I'd love to see Doug get a championship, especially after "The Run"

Another WOW moment not caught on camera probably happened OFF the track, as Westerfield had to explain to his soon-to-be-future wife why he was holding on to that trophy girl for so long.. :D ;)

Whooops! :D

One on camera wow was Alan Johnson giving the big "O" some luv on the starting line after Doug defeated his driver. Pure class.

I think it is the blowers. It makes the cars way too top heavy and they want to tip over. They should all be a/fuelers.

This realy happen???I missed it

It did indeed....plain as day from the in-car camera aimed at Jeg himself, right after he tripped the lights. Rieff started to comment on it ("did he just flip off...") - and then Dunn interrupted with something a bit garbled and no more was said about it after that. Not sure if Coughlin just doesn't like Anderson, or whether the gesture was more of a 'take THAT' after being beat up by Anderson repeatedly a few years back.

i have my doubts that jeg flipped him off. He may have been pointing at Anderson with his index finger, which I've see him do in the past. Reiff's comment sounded more like it was edited than cutoff by Dunn. Besides Jeg doing that, would come off as incredibly juvenile, for racer of his stature, especially knowing a camera is staring u, right in the face.

That's much more accurate. Just watched ESPN3 and the ESPN2 show from youtube and neither showed the middle finger. He was confused by his index finger. Dave did start to say something on the ESPN2 show but was cut off. ESPN3 has no commentary.

Jeg gave a nice air punch with his index finger out. No harm no foul. Just a happy winner!

holy crap, look at the numbers above, they are as close to identical as I've ever seen. What was the margin of victory in inches?
