LOL, I`m sure I`m safe in saying Idaho probably has never had a Miss America contestant finish in the top 5!

Well, Pomona's definitely out but I do hope to make it there sometime in my life (I can't believe I haven't been there yet!). Vegas is iffy, I just started a new job about 5 weeks ago and the new store we've been finishing out opens on Thursday. I'm not sure I'll be able to cut out for a week in April quite this soon but I damn sure going to try!

That doesn't surprise me. For BSU it was a landmark event (win or lose) but winning the game in the fashion that they did will no doubt make it live forever in BSU history. What y'all may not realize is that the most difficult part of bigtime college football still lies ahead and that is sustaining the level of play that got you where you are now. There's plenty of teams out there that have had "flash in the pan" success and then faded back to second-tier status. I, for one, would like to see BSU continue to step it up and remain a player in the upper echelon of college football, eventually moving into a stronger conference. I think the Pac 10 would be a perfect spot for the Broncos.

Back when I was under the delusion that I could actually afford to go away to school, I visited the campus at Auburn and I made the comment about how beautiful all of the women on campus were. The Ol Boy giving the tour looked at me funny and said in that thick Bama drawl "Hell son, we redshirt Miss Americas around here"!!
