DRO is reporting the rumor too. He and Scott Gardner would have made a good team. Still haven't heard any confirmation on the rumors of the idiotic decision to move the World Series from Cordova though.

I fear the days of the IHRA giving the NHRA anything to worry about sailed with Bill Bader. It would be nice for the NHRA to have to worry a little bit but I don't think it's coming.

This would 'splain a lot. You don't make a decision (or offer) like this in a week or two.

It wouldn't surprise me if they'd been in negotiations about this for a while, and is why T Ped is the new color commentator now.

As of right now Cordova's web site has a TBA on the dates for the World Series. It looks like they have lost their IHRA race they usually have in May.

I received a phone call this past Saturday from Chris Lencheski the CEO of IRG Sports and one of the questions I asked him was about the Mike Dunn rumor and him becoming the New I.H.R.A. president and told me there would be a press release on Tuesday.

I think this will be a very positive move for the I.H.R.A.
