As an average 90% nitro fan, I'm in favor of getting the facts from a family member so I don't have to go around the internets in perpetual idiot mode.

The Pedregon Bros are public figures, so you do tend to sacrifice your right to privacy if you elect to do something that makes you a public figure.

I'm fine with respecting their privacy, but I 'm a fan too. And us fans are interested in the lives of our nitro heros.

I think nitro fans hoping for all three Pedregon Bros' to 'just get along' is a little like wishing for a Beatles Reunion. I think its a shame that all three bros are in to nitro but only two of the three have the means to go nitro racing. A three brother nitro team would be freekin awesome, from a fan point of view.

I am continuously amazed by what some people think is appropriate to post when they don't have the facts.

It's one thing if you don't agree with what a crew cheif set-up for a run or if a racer brain farts during an interview. But when comments are made about a racers family, (by people that have no idea). I just don't think that's right. Especially when it also happens to be MY family you are referring to.

And so many of you wonder why more racers, owners, etc don't post here.

Last I checked this is a discussion board, not a fact finding expedition site. If this board would only post comments that are 100% factual and accurate, there wouldn't be a whole lot of posting going on. I don't know what kind of dream land you live in, but when discussion boards are free of rumor and innuendo let me know so I can join it!

I generally support the right to post anything you want, within reason and good taste, but I am going to have to agree with Steve on this one. This is a Drag Racing discussion board, and neither of the events being discussed in this thread have anything to do with drag racing. It's family business between people who just happen to drag race ... if they want to tell you ... they will. Since in both instances it has been years since the alleged incidents, and no one here has the facts, it is obvious they want it buried in the past where it belongs. Leave it be, especially since does not affect any of us directly (other than a few seconds of dead air on TV).
