With everything that Paul said leading up the Jerry Tolliver run last night, there was, what seemed to me, a VERY uncomfortable silence by Mike.

Mike didn't say a word until Robert made the turnoff.

Now, I'm not trying to get all "Access Hollywood" on the deal, but it was just, weird...

I was sitting around and was also thinkn its to bad all 3 Pedregon Bros cant be racing, but i know something happened there but no clue what.

Frank and Tony were after the same woman. Probably about a decade ago. It did not go well. From what I understand, they haven't spoken since.

I was actually surprised at how much Mike talked about his father when they were discussing him being in his 60th year of drag racing. He spoke proudly of his father I thought.

That is a shame! No woman, I don't care who she is, is worth losing a brother over. You have to be one bitter, self-centered person to be willing to give up a sibling, and for what, a piece of a$$!

As worthless as some brothers are (like mine) I'd gladly trade him in for a piece of ass any day!

gee Brent, I was thinkin' almost the same thing... not that he's worthless, we just don't have anything in common. Since 1970, I think I've spent 30 hours or so total with my brother.

Greg,
I did not see all of the show, so I must have missed that part. I understand there is tension there, but it just caught me as odd. First rule of broadcasting is usually NO DEAD AIR, but there was sure quite a bit of it. It almost seemed like Paul was leading up to Mike's comments but they never came.

The same thing happened when Tony Bartone his first nitro race last year , dead silence by mike dunn. Personally I think that its their business but it is noticable .

I think Greg was talking about Saturday's show. Mike talked very nicely about his dad and his 60 years in the sport. There certainly was no dead air on Saturday.

I agree Greg, I think he said more at that point than he ever has combined.

I wonder if the winner of that one is ready to trade her, to get his Brother back? :D

If I remember correctly Tony married her. ;)

I am continuously amazed by what some people think is appropriate to post when they don't have the facts.

It's one thing if you don't agree with what a crew cheif set-up for a run or if a racer brain farts during an interview. But when comments are made about a racers family, (by people that have no idea). I just don't think that's right. Especially when it also happens to be MY family you are referring to.

And so many of you wonder why more racers, owners, etc don't post here.

What a bunch of idiots.
