Mert Littlefield

Brad has confirmed his dad passed away this morning at 66 years old. Prayers go out to the entire Littlefield family! Godspeed Mert!

My thoughts and condolences to the Littlefield Clan.

And we lose another pioneer of the sport.:(

Godspeed Mert!

Mert was a great guy. A big teddy bear. Always enjoyed our conversations in his garage at home.

Mert was one of those guys that dug in there and worked hard. He always had something nice to say and was right there willing to help you. He was one of my favorite people at the races.

God bless Mert.

I met Mert in 1992 when he purchased his Alky FC from Bucky Austin! Always was a Nice guy, to Lee, Brad and the rest of the Littlefield Family, Prayers sent!

Wow 66 years young!

Seems like he was there at the beginning of the sport.

God Speed Mert!

Best thoughts to the family.

he was a great man and always had a free minute when you would call. . .a funny story..... we never call the blowers "blower". . .we always would refer to it as a "Mert". . .you would say "It's a 14.71 MERT" !. . .god speed my friend!

sad deal...i didnt know Mert very well, but his son Brad is a great guy and I feel for him and the rest of his family

Very sad news! I met him and his family when brad was just a kid doing his "brad stats", they came all the way over to Norwalk to run IHRA TAFC, he was a good man! My prayers and condolences to Brad and the entire family!!!

Sad to hear. Ever since I was a little kid and old enough to know what a "supercharger" was, his name and "supercharger" were one and the same in my mind. Godspeed, Mert. :(

Out thoughts and prayers go out to Brad and to the family.
God Speed Mert.

Since I just lost my Dad, I know what your going through. Be tough and remember what a great guy your Dad was.
